![]() ![]() There're a few ways to take a video of your screen in Windows computer, whether it's a game or an app. If you're eager to record your video in Windows 10 or Windows 11, this seems to be your lucky day. You can find these and set your own shortcuts by clicking on settings on the bottom right and then navigating to hotkeys.Whether you're in your game or an app in a way to show off the gameplay or illustrate how-to guide, there're times when you wish you could screen record video in Windows. As default, you'll find recordings stored under C:\Users\XXXX\VideosĪlternatively, you can use hotkeys to start and stop recording. ![]() Once you're finished, open the app again and click stop recording.Minimise OBS Studio and go about your business.On the right-hand side, under controls, click "start recording".From the list, select display capture and then select the monitor you want to capture.At the bottom of that, there's a plus icon.On the bottom left of OBS Studio you'll see a box marked "sources".The easiest way to then record your actions is to use display recording to grab everything happening on your monitor. Pick recording and follow the prompts there. Download and install the software and when you first run it you'll be run through a wizard which asks whether you want to optimise for streaming or recording.
